The Rebar & Structural Steel Leader
Our founder and CEO, JJ Nelson, has been in the construction industry since 1999. Interested in the dynamics of construction, he learned all he could about the industry both on-site and in the classroom. In 2004, he received his degree in construction management from Boise State University.
Our Vision
Unsatisfied with the current offerings in rebar estimation and detailing services, JJ saw an opportunity to provide clients in the United States, Canada and Australia with exceptional quality services and a customer-first approach. In 2016, JJ started Twenty X Steel to make this vision a reality.
Twenty X Steel rapidly became known in the industry for providing detailed, quality work at a fair price, including 3D modeling and BIM services. By streamlining the process, JJ is able to make certain that Twenty X Steel stays flexible, able to quickly and economically provide customized rebar detailing and estimation that clients can count on. In 2016, the firm expanded its service offerings to include structural steel detailing, and in 2019 Twenty X Steel began offering structural steel fabrication services for embed plates and stud rails.
